I haven't got a clue in the slightest what brought this on, but LOL!
Oh, really, Steph? We were wondering about that!
This was just too awesome a face not to get a close-up. Oh man, you don't want to be on the receiving end of that scowl! :o
Sweet sleeping babies! <3
And a few more I really liked, but couldn't find a place for in the story:
I kind of went a little overboard with the color-lit faces, so it's not a surprise that I only ended up using one of them, lol! The colored glow was from a lamp up on a OMSP.
Also, while
this night light in Lily's room looks SUPERawesome in the game, it doesn't actually cast any light, so I had to put a candle on the floor behind her changing table. The combination of the two achieved just the effect I wanted! :)
Oh, that scowl is fantastic! Did Ryanne just do that or is that you playing with the overlays? Oooh and a close-up of the girls sleeping! I was hoping to see a clearer shot of that.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the tip on the night light too! I'll have to try that, when I have reason to use it.
I know, I had a ton of fun getting Ryanne's face just right, lol! It was all overlays, but it was the pose that I think polished off the look I think, with all the attitude in that hip and those crossed arms.
ReplyDeleteI bet you can find plenty of houses to use that nightlight in! It's really a very nicely-made detail, and set just the mood I wanted! :)
Clever with the colored lights! I really love that shot of her with the phone and the light from the fireworks. And that's an interesting turning point in the entry too because that's when she runs off to check on Willow.
ReplyDeleteAnd I was wondering about that night light. Clever again! Man you are going to have so much fun with the lighting in TS3. Every single lamp is customizable. You can customize color and the light level.
Lunar, oooh, how cool that the lights are customizable! I can't wait to dig into that! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd now I wish RL lamps had customizable light levels... Or well, I guess that would be a dimmer switch, lol! So I wish all my RL lights had dimmer switches! ;)
